Auditions

Unfortunately, due to technical issues upgrading our audition registration system, the opening of registration will be delayed until Tuesday November 9th. We appreciate your patience.

We are currently accepting Trainee/BFA and Digital auditions submissions. Dancers are invited to submit a Digital Audition in consideration for acceptance, scholarship and placement. We invite dancers to review age and level requirements, specific to each program below. We look forward to meeting you virtually or in-person!

SUMMER PROGRAM AUDITIONS

Students may audition for any of our Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensives during the annual Audition Tour. Our International and Domestic (US) Tour begins each year in December and continues through the Spring.

Qualifying dancers attending a summer program audition are also considered for our year-round Trainee/BFA programming.

All dancers, new and returning, are required to audition, in consideration for:

• Acceptance
• Scholarships
• Placement

DIGITAL VIDEO
AUDITIONS

We accept video submissions for our Summer Intensives and year-round Trainee Programs. If you are unable to attend our in-person or virtual auditions, submit a video following the submission requirements for each program. Qualifying dancers submitting a digital audition for our summer programs will also be considered for our year-round Trainee/BFA programming.

• Digital auditions are accepted up until three weeks prior to the start date of the selected Summer Intensive.
• Digital auditions for Trainee/BFA programs are accepted throughout the year.

AUDITIONS

Exclusive virtual auditions are your opportunity to be considered for the year-round Joffrey Ballet School Trainee Programs and the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program, in association with New Jersey City University.

Experience a day with our Artistic Directors, to be considered for acceptance and potential merit-based scholarships.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Summer ProgramsDancers must be 8 years old by their audition date and no older than 25 on June 1, 2022.

Trainee & BFA ProgramDancers must be 13 years old by their audition date and no older than 25 on September 1, 2022.

PRICE & PRE-REGISTRATION

Domestic AuditionsPre-registration is recommended but is not required. 

  • In Person: $35 USD (Early Registration) | $40 USD (Walk-In)
  • Virtual: $40 USD
